Circles, Cows, and More for Week 3

I know that many of the students have been quite sick this week. I hope that they all feel better soon and can return to school next week for a happy and healthy week 4!

Cows

Last week we learned about pigs, this week we learned about cows. On Wednesday we colored and put spots on our own cow. We learned that cows give us milk through a milking the cow activity. We had a cow cutout and used a rubber glove filled with water to represent the cow's "utters". The kids had a chance to milk the cow. Uno and Ceci were the only two in class on Wednesday. Uno loved milking the cow, but Ceci was a little unsure about it.

Hot Air Balloon Circle Art

On Thursday each student got a hot air balloon and we decorated them with.. circles!! First we put glue all over the circle balloon and then we put buttons and other colorful circles all over.

Outside Play

Before lunch all of the students get time to play outside. I am very impressed with how much their confidence has grown on the playground. They are developing more and more and able to play on more of the playground equipment each week.

Climbing through the circle tunnel

Ceci has enough strength to climb up all by herself.

Star of the Week

This week Uno is the Star of the Week. Uno's confidence has improved so much this week. He is speaking more, playing with his friends, and always tidying up. Congrats Uno! Thanks for being a star student this week!
