Our First Week at Ascot

Meeting all the kids this week has been wonderful. I am very impressed with all of their motor skills and how well they have been playing together. I am very excited to be the new pre-nursery teacher and to continue to watch their language skills, motor skills, and personalities continue to develop.

It has only been four days and the students are already much more relaxed and confident in the classroom.

Some exciting activities we have done this week:
  • Outside play (They love the water station and driving around the cars)
  • Music class (The students loved dancing along to the songs)
  • Cooking roleplaying (All the students love playing in the "kitchen" and discovering the different foods)
  • Making different shapes and animals out of the play-doh
  • Finger painting (we did some finger painting and made our very own hand prints)

I am excited to continue to do even more hands on activities with the students as the year goes on! Thankful for a great week with the class.

I hope that you all have a wonderful weekend. More photos and posts to come.

Thanks,

Miss Cha Cha
