Firetrucks are Red for Week 8!

Week 8 on the PN Bus!

Here is the bus that the kids painted last week!

This color theme for week 8 was red. We played with red play-doh, had a red sensory box, did an all red water play, and more!

We made red shakers to cheer on our friends for Sport's Day! We got a toilet paper roll and painted it all red. After that, we added glitter. Then some beans so they would make lots of noise.

We had fun shaking our shakers at Sport's Day. We also clapped our hands and yelled "go, go, go!" It was very hot though so we returned to class for snack and playtime just after 9:00.  In the play room we practiced our jumping, climbing, and running.

Transportation

We continued to learn about different types of transportation. We focused on firetrucks this week. We listened and danced to "Hurry, Hurry, Drive the Firetruck", made firemen hats, and made firetrucks.

Everyone is becoming so independent!

Everyone sitting down and following directions as we made the fire trucks.
Great listening ears!

We can all hold the paintbrushes by ourselves

Building

We have been practicing our building. We use different shapes to make towers. I had the kids build towers using one color of their choice. They had to sort through the different shapes to find the colors they needed.

Physical Development

They are becoming more confident in their motor skills every day. Many of the students are able to jump off of the yellow block all by themselves. Some of them are even landing on their feet

1, 2, 3, JUMP!!!

Army: "Jump"

Daimyo: (tapped my arm) "1,3,go"
He wanted me to count for him before he jumped

Great job to everyone! For week 9 the color theme will be blue and we will be learning about transportation that can fly.
