Week 10: Boats, the color green, and more!

This week we learned about boats and the color green!

We made ice boats.

The kids enjoyed playing with them and watching them get smaller and smaller as they melted. The kids liked the different color boats and holding them. It made their hands cold.

Paras laughing because the boat made her hands so cold!

We also made a sailboat for art!

On Wednesday we went on an adventure.

We walked outside and looked at the colorful flowers, leaves, and we found so many animals hiding in the plants. We came back to the class and made green leaf stamps with all the leaves that we found.

There was a frog sitting on a green lily pad.

Looking for fish swimming in the pond.

Miss Cha Cha: "Does anyone see an animal next to the big tree?"
Uno: "Elephant"
Everyone enjoyed seeing the elephant and sat down to look at it.

Miss Cha Cha: "Ceci, what animal is it?"
Ceci: "Tiger!"

We found a big crocodile and a small crocodile!

Picking some green leaves for our art project.

On Thursday, we went swimming and leaf collecting.

We found some ants while we were gathering leaves.

After we went leaf collecting we made beautiful leaf decorations for the class windows.

Here are some pictures of us playing on Friday!

Star of the Week

This week the Star of the Week is Army! Army is the star of the week because of his kindness and excitement. He is always kind to his friends. He always shares his toys and he plays nicely with everyone. He also expresses so much enthusiasm during classroom activities. He is always excited to try something new in all of his classes! This week he did a great job of finding and observing the animals on our mini adventure and he sang and danced so well for Miss Shana during music class. Great job this week Army!
