Shark Week and more

It was a sharky week in Pre-Nursery

We made sharks for art.

Here we are practising  our balance and concentration.

Each student concentrated really hard to only walk on the blue tape... if they fell off the sharks could catch them.

Counting Fish

All of the students can recite counting 1-10, but the past few weeks we have focused on counting objects one by one. Each student came up and fed the shark as many fish as they could count.

Singing and counting, How many fingers

Fill up the Tank

Fish, whales, and sharks all live under the sea and need water!

This was an excellent activity, allowing the students to use and improve their fine motor skills.

First they filled up the cup.

Then they had to walk as fast as they could (without spilling)!

Lastly, they poured the water in the shark or whale tank. After they were all filled up the whales and sharks could go swimming!

Shells, Shells, Shells

We also learned about shells this week. We know they can be many different colors, they feel hard, and they can be a home to come animals.

Swimming

We are all becoming so confident in the pool!

Star of the Week

The Star of the Week is Sun Sun! She has been so helpful, confident, and creative this week. Sun Sun has done a great job with following directions, helping the teachers and her friends, as well as coming up with creative games to play. Great job this week Sun Sun!
