PN Pet Fish and More!

PN Class Pet

We got our very own pet this week. It is a fish named Fin. The students are very excited about the fish! We made Fin's home together (fish tank) the students were all very helpful and great listeners throughout the entire process.

They also help feed fish every morning and love watching him swim around the fish tank!

We have been building a lot this week, to help students develop and improve their spatial awareness.

While we are building we also count the number of blocks that we are using to make our towers.

In the afternoon we focus on our fine motor skills. This week we have introduced putting beads on a string. This is great for developing their fine motor skills as well as developing skills such as concentration.

While the students are putting the beads on the string we have them identify the different colors they are using.

For art, we read Where is Spot? and made our very own dog.

We love story time in PN!

First we had to put glue on the dog!

Then we used black and white yarn to give our dog soft fur!

We also made a cat for art.

We used a cat stencil and painted around it with squishy sponges.

For PE we did an obstacle course. We practiced balancing and jumping!

Slithering around like sssss-nakes!

Here are pictures of us playing this week!

Here are pictures of us in Music Class!

Star of the Week

The Star of the Week is Daimyo. Firstly, he has been a great listener all week. He has been lining up, waiting for his friends, and engaging in all activities. Secondly, he has been taking time to complete his work. This week he was concentrated from start to finish during his art lessons. Great job this week Daimyo!
